KEY CHALLENGES
This client is one of the leading US pharmaceutical companies with global presence. Client’s supply chain planning process suffered the lack of collaboration and transparency as much of the planing work was being done in spreadsheets, home-built applications and proprietary software resulting in delayed planning, highly inefficient S&OP process and overstock/ under-stock situations causing frequent inventory, manufacturing and logistics issues. Highly fluctuating gap in demand & supply in conjunction with multi-locational operations made the problem even worse and lead to multi-million dollars in wastage.
